What is fiberclay?

A fiberclay planter is made out of a mixture of natural fibers and clay. When these durable materials dry together, it becomes one super strong structure. It looks like stone but is so much lighter. Because of used technique to make exterior planters from fiberclay, we're highly flexible in shaping and sizing.

How is a fiberclay planter made?

A fiberclay planter is made by hand. For every piece in the Artclay collection a different mould is made. On the inside the fiberclay is applied manually. A fibre mat is pressed into each layer of fiberclay. When the pot has enough layers, we let it dry outdoors. The result is a surprising collection of strong outdoor pots. Powerful in both lifespan as in design.
